KIDS HELPING KIDS School’s Program— the CandleNight challenge
To take part in the CandleNight challenge read any number of pages of a book with your child one night and donate a dollar a page. Your child will understand and empathise with the difficulty of reading by candlelight, and you’ll have supplied one child with a potentially life-saving solar lamp to study by.
NOTE: Please do not leave a child unattended next to a candle and make sure you extinguish the flame after completing the task.
